Build A Flower

This is my live post on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today!

Diane with you today to 'brighten' up your days with a pretty
and colorful bouquet using the new stamp set

If you saw my last post HERE then you might remember me
saying I would be using my 'Nuance' color sheets for my next post,
which is what I did.
The colors of Nuance used were:
(By the way, there are 3 NEW colors of Nuance in the store,
you might want to take a peek)!

I stamped several flowers on the scrap pieces I had left from
my bunny card.

Then, carefully cut each one out.
(I ended up not using the yellow flower).

Once the flowers were cut, I used my
flower making tools (mat and stylus) to shape the petals

I cut both a Spellbinders Basic Circle (which I embossed with a decor dots EB folder),
and a Circle Delight die, which I placed under the basic circle...pretty isn't it?
I die cut a Tutti Designs Stitched Heart, which I then embossed the sentiment
with Coffee (one of my favorites) embossing powder.
The leaves were stamped, colored with Copics, then coated with
I finished the flowers by adding Black Ice glitter to each center and
Silver Moondust to the blue, Purple Rain to the purple
and Sherbert Shimmer to the pink flowers.

For the finishing touch,
a pretty pink bow was added.
Thank you for visiting with me today!

What a cute design with the flowers and heart arranged on the circle! Those Nuance powders are interesting. Now I can see how you got that authentic Easter egg look on your other card. I especially like the lighter speckled edges of your flowers. I love that Coffee embossing powder, too. It has a lot of depth. Gosh, Diane, you make me want to go emboss and glitter something. Haven't had time to stamp in a few days, though. 'Tis the season! ps: Glad you liked your critter card!
